Don't Lose Sight of the Prize

I'm a great advocate of the MVP and lean startups in general. Bootstrapping gets you to decision time quickly. But, don't lose sight of what you really want to achieve. It's ok to need to change things (it's even a necessity according to Steve Blank:)

However, you shouldn't lose site of what you want to achieve. Keep pushing, stay lean but keep pushing. When the right opportunity is there. Go for it. Startups (you) need to be able to focus on the minutiae and then very quickly switch to thinking about the big picture.
